We provide daycare for children 8 weeks to 2 years old and an engaging preschool curriculum and educational environment for children ages 3-5.
Cane Bay Academy provides a dynamic educational environment focusing on a variety of developmentally appropriate activities to strengthen each child's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and motor skills.
One and two year old daily routines incorporate a variety of fine and gross motor opportunities, creative song and art activities, crafts, early language and literary skills, introduction to foreign language, social interaction, and sensory play.
Our preschool curriculum builds on the skills and experiences learned earlier. The curriculum utilizes the zoo-phonics method to introduce and teach early reading, spelling, and writing skills. Class lessons and activities strengthen young students' early math and science skills, reinforce foreign language skills, and fine/gross motor skills. Behavioral and social skills are taught through daily routines, consistent expectations, interactions with peers and teachers, and play. Technology is introduced through interactive smart board activities, digital storyboards, and educational games. Students are prepared to be successful in elementary school by emphasizing academic skills, teaching independence, and instilling confidence.
